Agtegra Announces New VP of Environmental, Health & Safety

Agtegra Cooperative is pleased to announce Jaclyn Collier as its Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS). In this role, Jaclyn leads all aspects of Agtegra’s EHS programs in addition to fostering a culture of safety in the cooperative.

“Jaclyn brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to safety and excellence, making her a valuable addition to the team,” says Agtegra Chief Operating Officer Mike Rizor. “Her extensive background in EHS and proven track record of implementing effective safety strategies across multiple industries will be instrumental in advancing our safety initiatives.” 

Having earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in occupational health and safety and a minor in environmental sustainability from Columbia Southern University, Jaclyn holds certifications as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST). With over a decade of experience in the EHS sector, Jaclyn has held a variety of roles across industries with expertise spanning hazardous waste and materials management, emergency response planning, training and professional development and the continuous enhancement of EHS processes.

Jaclyn and her husband, Patrick, have three children, ages 24, 18, and 12. In their free time, they enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time as a family. They are looking forward to becoming a part of the Agtegra community.

He started his career as a sales agronomist and has held several leadership positions within the agronomy sales organization, most recently as Regional Seed Lead.

Jay Esser is co-owner and operator of Esser Farms Inc., his family’s farm that has been in operation since 1932. Jay earned his business degree from the University of South Dakota in 1990 with an emphasis in economics.
